u wot m8? Demon's Souls' controls are practically identical to Dark Souls'. I even went back to DeS after playing DaS and I still found it to be an enjoyable experience.

It's a bit more broken, sure, and pathing is super easy to abuse, but I found it to be overall enjoyable. Not for everyone, I spose.
