While it is true that tyrannosaurus rex was most likely mainly a scavenger, evidence also suggest that at the same time it also was a surpsrisingly efficient hunter. There's still some debate on that issue.

Imo hunting probably meant a huge investment of energy in a process that wouldn't always end in an energy source. Being a tyrannosaurus rex and all, it was more efficient to 'steal' prey.

I'm sorry for nitpicking but pleiaosaurus technically isn't a dinosaur either. I do suggest we just include everyhting we preceive as dinosaur.
