I don't play the majority of games out there aside from Halo or MK, but since when do I have to put up with my friends' friends' shit about the state of the US game industry? Not since last night when we got together at a neighbor's frat for exams, of course.
Yuh we weren't even playing but as I helped write a buddy's notes for God-knows what subject we could hear two guys in the hallway across from where we studied loudly arguing. Or rather, one who was originally from the London suburbs I think complained about how some Professor Layton game didn't include a bonus RPG called Layton's London Life in his territory. The other guy was from some part of Long Island closer to my place and he said he would let the London guy borrow his copy.
As fuck would have it though, the London guy screamed "You wanker. I thought you Americans lost all your fucking dignity in games and we got ourselves the bragging rights. What sort of home to pet sims and barbie dolls even deserves a BONUS game set in OUR CITY???" He ends the conversation by nearly strangling the Long Island guy before getting thrown out, go figure.
WTF? Europe's all the sudden gotten so greedy with games they overreact when a single bonus game doesn't release outside US? BullSHIT.
