how does one become a hardcore gamer?

is there some kind of like exercise regiment that gives you the mad skills and determination to pwn? how can i get into the zone?

Well you need to have started gaming in the 1980's and played on every video game system since than, or your can just be a Noob gamer and buy a Xbox360 or PS3.
