Any simple dungeon cralwers?

Name: Anonymous 2011-02-12 16:10

I don't know very many video games and I am currently limited to gamecube-era consoles and a netbook so new video games are out of the question for now.

What I am looking for is basically a simple and moderately challenging dungeon crawler that allows for simple customization of only a few stats and abilities at level up. Basically something similar to Castle Crashers or Shining Soul II that I could figure out and enjoy greatly while stoned.

Any suggestions would be great :)

KOTOR? I don't know what a dungeon crawler is or anything but I love getting stoned and playing thst, closest thing I can get to actually being a Jedi.

KOTOR is a great game and I'd probably love it stoned as well, but I'm looking for something with even more simplified level-up and ability mechanics and with a simpler story.

I know what game I am thinking of, but my brain cant put two and two together.

Torchlight is a simple but excellent game, and it comes with a setting specifically made for netbooks to run well on them while still looking great.  The games a friggin blast, its engaging enough when you want it to be, but you can also just zone out playing it.

Besides TL, old games, perhaps?  There's Diablo 1&2, there's a freemium MMOish one called Dungeon Runners, neat game, well maintained, should run well on a low power system, etc.

Any roguelike would do nicely.
