Final Fantasy 7/Metroid crossover :D

It should happen.  Nobody bothers thinking about it because most FF7 fans whine a lot and most Metroid fans don't socialize in groups like the former.  Somehow though the dark atmospheric nature of both seems to fit naturally.  Imagine Cloud and Samus teaming up with friends (not like Samus has any of her own of course) to fight off a combined threat of Mako and Phazon energy, or a Jenova/Metroid hybrid, or a war between Shin'ra and the Galactic Federation for control of new interplanetary research.  100% unlikely, but still worth thinking about. :)
