Emulators

Hey /v/,
I missed a lot of games. So i'm going to load up some emus on my laptop, and get to blasting em off. I figure in six months or so I might be caught up with console games.
But I have some questions:
First; what emus should I use for PS1, NES, and SNES?
Second; any specific non-obvious recommended games?
Third; if PCSX2 does work on my laptop, do ICO, SoTC, Okami, RE4, and MGS3 run fine?
Fourth and finally; I have a corded 360 controller which I can use as a gamepad, but is there something with a better d-pad you can recommend?
Sorry for the... request, but it's too specific and vidya related for /r/ to be of any use.

if u r going to use an emulator for ps1 i have got the epsxe which works well but u do need to download the plugins to config it

me again if u r going to download games a good rpg game to download for ps1 is Grandia but be warned it is a big file and graphics arnt amazing bu tgameplay is good

Okami runs fine on PCSX2, but I had to overclock my E8400 to 4.4GHz to play it with no slowdowns throughout the entire game. PCSX2 can only utilize 2 CPU cores, so it's not going to happen I'm afraid.

Just assign the analog stick to the D-Pad controls in your emu. Either that or stop having some fat fucking fingers, the 360 dpad isn't that fucking hard.

epsxe for ps1 since you have a laptop you will need touse the shitty one the psx1.13 the games looks like crap and not preety and high resolution like in epsxe but you have a laptop so its shit to play games ;_;

since you have a laptop  pcsx2 will run like crap if you ever be abble to run it lol
