Here are my system specs (Running on laptop.), followed by the problem:
Windows 7
Intel 2 Duo Core T8100 @ 2.10 GHz 2.10 GHz
3.00 GB RAM
nVidia GeForce 8400 MS
The problem really is the game moves like molasses (about five minutes to lap around Hells Kitchen, lines remain on the screen about 15-30 seconds after they are spoken), so I turned vsync on in the DeusEx.ini file, and now it moves pretty damn fast. A lot of the conversations are cut in half as lines are cut off midway through speaking. I've already tried compatibility mode, I've tried setting the game to run on one core, then on two cores. I've also tried setting vsync to Force On in the nVidia control panel. Any help would be appreciated.
