PS2 Problems

Hey so I've had my PS2 for 8 years now and it's starting to stop reading a few movies. are there any at home fixes that can be used to fix this?

I wanted to watch Simpsons Season 12 but i got a DRE, but then when i put the ATHF movie, it worked perfectly fine. Same with it not reading Finding Nemo but it reads Up.
