The video game industry in general is so slow in adapting to audiences. They try to make one size fits all general brands, which is why we get a lot of rehashed games and not enough creative, new products. They should take a hint from the anime industry, North American anime companies saw that moe titles sold well in Japan, so they brought some over in the U.S. and they are high sellers.
I think something like the iDOLM@STER could be very successful in North America if it was given a chance. Even if they just brought over one of the psp games as a test product.
