Pokemon Mono-Type Tournament

Posting this in /games/ rather than /v/ because it's easier to track this thread and there's a low chance it'll 404.

Anyway, the rules are

Your Team must consist of 6 Non-Uber, Non Legendary Pokemon who share a single type, this means if you choose Water then you can have Water / Dragon and Water / Ground; basically all the pokemon on your team must share a single type and can be multi-types.

These Smogon Clauses are in effect:

Evasion Clause
    Moves that boost evasion (i.e. Double Team and Minimize) are not allowed.
Freeze Clause
    Two or more Pokémon on a team cannot be frozen at the same time.
Sleep Clause
    Two or more Pokémon on a team cannot be asleep at the same time. Self-induce sleep via rest does not activate Sleep Clause.
OHKO Clause
    One-Hit KO moves are not allowed.
Species Clause
    Two or more of the same Pokémon may not be used on the same team.
Self KO Clause
    If both players have only one Pokémon left, moves which KO both the user and the opponent are not allowed (e.g. Explosion, Destiony Bond). If recoil damage would cause a tie, Self KO Clause does not activate, and the player who last attacked is the winner.
Item Clause
    All Pokémon on a team must hold different items.


If you want to register, post in the Name field or text your Name, Friend Code, and Type you want to use. Register by the end of this weekend, and if we have enough people then we'll have the tournament in 2-3 weeks.

This is dumb i hate whiny bitches that use cluases becuase they cant deal with them. if u hate what moves a pokemon can know be prepared and have a diverse team then u dont need to play by dumb cluases. u scared of sleep use a lumb berry scared of 1hko moves have a pokemon that knows sturfy or have a focus sash. people who say cluases stop people from being cheap are really cheap themselves by changing defualt rules just for the fact that they dont know how to battle against something.
