Top-loading NES has wrong AC adapter.

Hello,

I just bought a top-loading NES from a guy on ebay (official one, not any of the cheap knock-offs). So far it works great and I'm enjoying being able to actually play my games... but he sent a Sega Genesis AC adapter with it. It fits fine in the back of the console--- but does anyone think it will eventually fry my NES? Do I need to shop for the right one or does anon think I'm fine?

Have we not heard of emulators?

I would have just bought that thing and kept it in glass case.

lol, but most likely it will fry your console.

Hit Up Nintendo for 1 i think you can snag one off their site for $5. They were selling all their old console stuff idk if they still do.

OP here; yes, I am quite familiar with emulators. But there's something special about swapping carts and playing on a TV that an emu can't copy. Not to mention playing with the original controllers (even though I have an NES and SNES controller with a USB cord attached).
