I liked it a lot, but the real-time inventory management and the slowness when turning your character were both pretty irritating. I liked it more than Dead Space for the set pieces, as Africa hosts a lot of fantastic environments, the designers have had some really good ideas and there's never a dull moment in the game. In comparison Dead Space's mission objectives were incredibly generic and repetitive (Isaac go repair this! Go flip that switch! Can you go down there and check this out?)
Towards the last parts of the game gone are the african vistas. Instead, you'll have a few environments which are more typical of RE.
It really felt like a combination of Gears of War and Metal Gear Solid 4 to me. Towards the end of the game, it practically rivals with MGS4 for extravagance and cheesiness.
Difficulty on normal at least is pretty easy, not to mention that you can basically buy as many first aid spray cans as you want. Bosses are pretty easy too for the most part, though a few near the end are a bit annoying.
One thing's for certain though, niggers are fucking scary, and this game delivers when it comes to blasting scary mutated negroes away.
8.5/10
