Okay so a friend of mine as been arguing with me over this for a year now and I think I'll just post it here. So what do you guys think is better Tony Hawks or the new Skate series? Personally I'm with the old school Tony Hawk but hes out there for Skate. So what do you think?

Skate all the way. The gameplay is very smooth, clean, and very realistic. I was a huge tony hawk fan til I played the skate 1 demo. I've been with skate ever since and always will be. The storys are much more realistic than tony hawk, so therefore you feel like a real skater trying to make it in the skate world. Also you can play the game all the time and find new spots to trick at. Im still finding badass skate spots in skate 1. So skate all the way.

Skate is an entirely diff. game except for the fact that it's about Skateboarding. The graphics look so nice, the physics r a lot better-looking, and the sticks r sumthing rly new to get used to, compared to the trite button combos THPS added little things onto with each installment.
Idk if I'd recommend u buy it, unless u LOVE skateboarding games, but it's def. worth a rent just for something different.
