In need of a fps

Name: Anonymous 2007-12-01 16:59

Hey, I've been playing some (gba)rpgs and nfs prostreet lately and now I'm in need of a good old quick-deathmatch fps, which is the best one that runs in a shitty integrated geforce 6100? (yup, the vga is shit, but when I upgraded my box because of having to run visual studio I lost the ability to use my 6600GT AGP)

Go to a store and look on the shelf. You will see 80% FPS 10% Rpg and 10% RTS

OP here I don't think you can (in fact I'm saving for an extra gig ram and a decent video card primarily to play bioshock in windows vista, for dx10)

nope, although with this card I don't get a lot of these either.

Started playing Warsow yesterday, looks like fun, there aren't a lot of servers though... how does Team Fortress 2 perform compared to portal or episode 2? (I played those in 640x480 in medium to get a decent frame rate)

anouther good one is Wolfenstein - Enemy Territory its a nice multi player fps it dosnt need mutch eather.
I recomened saveing your money and getting a nice card and some ram. Just be sure you know what kind of card you have befor doing so.
Some say you would have to get a  new power sorce if your card is intergrated. I dont mean to sound like a neard fyi Im not :/

CSS has various deathmatch servers which are huge fun - and CSS runs really well on even the weakest systems.

TF2 is very resource heavy (just about all the textures are twice the size of regular valve games released in the past) but you can always turn things down to try and get it to run. Although I'd be surprised if it performed anywhere near as well as CSS.

The older UT games will still be played a lot and will run well on your machine if you turn the graphics settings down low enough.

wolfenstein is also played quite a lot even now, and the MP is totally free. Just ehad to splash damage's site to get the d/l and patch.
