We need a Gamers/tech political party

If there isn't one already.

Some ideas I have had as far as what they would support

-elimination of the ESRB
-elimination of the DMCA
-low cost higher speed broadband standard caught up with all the rest of the world that has speeds lightyears ahead of us.
-establishment of gamer related holidays including wintereenmas
as officially nationally reconginzed holidays therefore store sales and holiday specials on tv.

ITT think of some moar.

We wouldn't be able to eliminate the ESRB. All forms of media need some ratings system for people to evaluate the content. What we could do is have a political figure come to power who would do that.

Winter-een-mas however, is up to us. With the rise of interest in a holiday comes publicity and the spread. Just make up tournaments at local arcades for this January so that people will become aware and associate with it.

We could of course, make up our own holiday, that isn't related to B^U.
