It's a shame you didn't break a Gamecube power supply. If you had, you could replace it with a SNES or N64 one. In this case you're just screwed, ifrk.

Late reply, but I got my friend's dad to fix it (he works with brighthouse, and is good with wires). I'm guessing the only reason it wasn't compatible, is because of that gay rectangle with no corner design.
