Wii and Gamecube power supplies

Anyone know if they're backwards compatible? As in, if I plug my Gamecube power supply into my Wii, will it work?

Dog chewed through my Wii supply, and my friend is bringing over a Gamecube one in a few hours....just wondering if I will be let down or not XD.

Almost positive it won't fit, sorry.

Kill your dog. For posterity.(and, no, it won't work with the Wii)

Just try it. Maybe it'll be like the ps1 and ps2 power supplies

Eat your dog.

Use your dog as a converter.

It's a shame you didn't break a Gamecube power supply. If you had, you could replace it with a SNES or N64 one. In this case you're just screwed, ifrk.

OP here.

Late reply, but I got my friend's dad to fix it (he works with brighthouse, and is good with wires). I'm guessing the only reason it wasn't compatible, is because of that gay rectangle with no corner design.

 Thanks for the help :)

And uh....is that prizerebel thing to be trusted? Or is this just a random ad that's being tossed around? I don't lurk on this board very much anymore.

Lots of exclamation marks = just a random ad

I guessed that, but it seems in place, and the site seems more legit than normal sites like that...
