It was terrible,no games coming out for like 2 years that were worth anything (Except MGS2), and hardware failures abound.
Now it's the bestselling console of all time.

hideo kojima has said that mgs4 may end up on the 360 at some point because there is no reason why the 360 cannot run it. those of you who try to get all technical dont no anything, listen to the game makers. the ps3 will have some amazing games coming out soon but just like the 360 you will have to wait for them.
