Ok mouse is good to aim, but you must have hell of a PC to run all the recent games, a console is cheaper, and everyone is treated equally about hardware performances
I think I'll wait for BF Bad Company, for the presence of vehicules and all the destructible buildings (even if it's not as good as Stranglehold, it's just "Shoot... smoke.. oh the wall disapeared !")
Unreal 3 is beautiful, but too futuristic, and developers said microsoft was not crazy about uploading users content (maps created on the PC editor) on the xboxlive...
Plus Unreal 3 will be crazy with the "air skate board" and people jumping everywhere at 20 meters in the air... Too much for me
Even if Halo 3 will have "customisables" maps on the otherside... but well, Microsoft owns Bungie...

i think COD4 was quality
but between those 3 games you listed, its gonna boil down to personal preference...halo 3 has a lot of sentinemtanl value to a lot of ppl and that will make it a better game for others than it will for most..unreal is a twitch shooter, if you like twitch then go for it, but i hate fast paced games like that, no feel. as for bad company, i think that just looks shitty, but it seems to have a good tone and funny story for a WW2 game, at least

Turok in 08... seriously if done right its gonna be insane. Also, The Orange Box is going to have Team Fortress 2, I think it looks good, others disagree. I'm getting Halo 3... putting my money on Battlefield. But yeah, Turok, I'm not saying it's going to be great, but if done right I think it's going to be the first good Turok title since the first one.
