Well I must say I'm damn angry about Sony, since they killed the market with the PS2 and made my Dreamcast die -_-;

Plus I totally followed microsoft on the first Xbox, the xboxlive was so cool, and car games / fps were great

Then at the E3 when I saw their fuckin sixaxis all pumped on Nintendo, their crazy prices, their attitude "we will wipe the market again, whatever" I swore I'll never buy a PS3 !

But now, I must admit the 599euros pack with 2 controllers and 2 games is cool, in you take into account the Blu-ray and the HDMI port, because on this point, microsoft made a fool of us with their hardware problems and their too many versions (core, premium, elite, premium w/o hdmi, premium with hdmi, new premium with less noise... WTF ?)
Finally with the free online services on the PS3, I might consider buying it at the next price drop / great game release
