They break because microsoft is a satanic company that wants to charge you 140 dollars for repairs. Anyone thinking of buying one, NEVER DO IT. Go wii or pc fo sho.

the xbox 360 is made horrifically! every one i know who has one has had it break.
microsoft seem to be pretty quick with supplying new ones though, just do it on the warranty and if the console is a bit past it. LIE!
