what modchip do you guys recommend? been looking around, but can't find any solid info as far as reliability goes, features, etc. mainly want to play back-ups and load games from the HDD, if that's possible.

I have a matrix infinity and have no complaints. However it doesn't do HDD stuff I burn all the games to DVD's. Also I got someone to off of craigslist to install it for me. but yeah toss in a burned ps2 game on a dvd or a ps1 game on a cd and it plays it fine.
