>It IS adorable to hear a young girl 'WAAAAAAAAAAUGH'. Even if it's barely above a whisper, solemn-faced, while she's directing a squiggoth to crush a Tau commander.
I think my face is now stuck in a constant :3 with tears streaming down my eyes.

True, but a little bit more dead. I wonder how the newfags will see Nurse-Kun in the near-future.

Holy shit, Nurse Kun, you're still around? I guess its true that a bit of old 4chan lives on in the text boards.
Anyway, we need your friend code as well in order to do anything. Also, pokemon has no form of in game communication, so if you wanted to trade or whatever, you'd have to get in touch some other way.

I'm looking for a old game that I used to play around 8-10 years ago. I think it worked in Windows 95 but it might as well be a DOS game.
Is a strategy game in which you had to manage a country (I think you could chose between different, real countries) as president. The game had an isometric view of the country, showing cities, factories and other stuff, and you could build different structures like power plants, army bases, et-cetera that took a realistic time to build (3-4 game years for a nuclear power plant, for example) so you had to plan ahead. You could as well define policies for the country, about drugs, abortion, taxes, et-cetera. You could even go to war with other countries if I remember correctly. I also think that if you were kicked out of the presidency after elections because of lack of popularity, the game would end, but I'm not totally sure of this.
I've been looking for this game now and then from time to time but I have never been able to remember the name or development studio or distributor, so I had no luck in finding it, but I'm sure that if I see a screenshot of the game I will be able to recognize it instantly.
Well, I'm somewhat bored. I re-read all the Nurse-kun stuff. And i realized, I REALLY need help with Platinum! I'm sure a.. 9 years old is she now? Anyways, I bet she could hep me out a lot with some Pokemon. If she still plays, that is. Add me on AIM if you wanna check with me first.
Friend Code is 0990 0647 9752
Also, your last post sounded like the adoption went through? Congrats!
Do you know what year it was made in? 1999 was mostly the year of Windows 98's glory. I had a number of great strategy games on my computer back in the day too; Civilization seems to match the game you want, at least very closely. (minus the policies, but hey, it /was/ pretty much the original real international simulation) I've got Civilization II even today, and I still play it from time to time. I'll try perusing the internet to see what I can find out for ya.
On another topic...
I won't try and shower Nurse-kun with praises (which he definitely deserves, even if his tale /isn't/ real, which I see no reason why it wouldn't be), but I will say it's given me a lot to think about. My aunt is also a nurse in a retirement home, and she mainly takes care of a mentally impaired patient who happens to be a good friend of my sisters and me. You've at least opened me to the possibility of taking nursing as a career, if the opportunity presents itself. Still, I found one other way I may be able to help people in need...
I plan on moving up to Japan. Insane, yes, but meh. I'm in a special position to be able to move there very soon, and very cheaply. Now, I'd like to note that I'm no anime/manga-otaku, but I am definitely a video game geek of sorts, enjoying a good game now and then when not simply writing stories for my own enjoyment or working /hard/ on my classes. But anyways, I'm planning on being an Assistant English Teacher as part of a program being offered by my college. Perhaps I have 'unrealistic expectations', but I too want to adopt a daughter, and I hope that maybe I will get a chance to help an orphan in need. Even more unrealistic are my expectations, that I actually hope she's like Konata! (think Lucky Star, which /has/ to be a *chan meme)
Altogether though, I just go where the tides of opportunity and chance will take me. I wish you and Amputee-chan the best of luck in the future! (as a note, I may be able to get my cousin's friend code, since she's only about 13 or so and right around Amputee-chan's age; especially considering she deals with a number of cousins younger than her on a daily basis! XD)
By the way, has Nurse-kun thus far heard about the game based on his advents? At the very least, it doesn't give away any of your particularly immature /b/-influenced moments, but it really stays true to the general story. Check it out: http://abstractnonsense.info/scarred/index.html
You have quite the admiration, as should anyone with stories such as yours. Truth or not (at least /I/ believe it's truth), your story does serve to encourage and lighten some peoples' days. Much kudos to you, suh! ... Big post is big.

Strange thought, wonder if she wants or currently goes to anime cons? A few cosplays she could pull off, in or out of wheelchairs, if she was into that.
i cant even believe there are posts here in 2009, nurse-kun, if you ever check back here, i think the least we deserve is an ending to this fine tale you have woven. tell us whether the adoption went through, how she is doing, whether the ending sad or good, i would really like to know, for closure. i suspect you have given up on this site, and for that i say good for you. but as a 19 year old contemplating med school, i would enjoy the closure only you could provide.
A painter for a portrait of young women, the two old man stopped him in the artist.
"Two years ago, there is a painter as a portrait of my daughter," one old man said, "up to now not a good painting." "It's nothing," another old man said, "30 years ago, our city a good start to the artist portrait of my wife." "How the?" "Until now, I did get pictures, do not have to see his wife."
