Seriously this game is shit, and only became popular due to the misfortune of every other xbox game sucking.

how so? It's slower that Half-Life 2, sure, but not by much. As far as 'neutered' Halo was one of the first FPS with balls in many respects, it had decent vehicles, limited weapons to carry, and difficult enemys.
