Story is alright and stuff, but RPGs never always had such a focus on character development and story.

Older RPGs had a sense of adventure and exploration. You created your party and if you didn't, then the characters themselves didn't feature too much character!

This is why games like Etrian Odyssey are a sight for sore eyes.

The only thing I liked about Halo's story was the FLOOD(popcorn monsters), and the ending when you had to escape.

Ok, the 64 came out in late '95 or early '96 (somwhere in there). Compared to other consoles avail at the time, the graphics were great. This should settle the arguement over the N64 having bad graphics. Or is it most of you are under-age and never owned one when it first came out. Its a console from over a decade ago! Of course the graphics can't compare to todays consoles! Also, the first console to allow 4-player multi-player and 3d graphics for 4 players. Everything after, pretty much learned from the 64 and improved upon it.
