well im not sure about xbox. i mean what, there is only like 3 games i even like on it? GTA san andres, Halo 1 & 2 and thats about it. And at that, I wouldn't go buy an xbox because of those games. Sonic adventure 1 + 2 were the only games i bought an entire dreamcast for..and i played it like there was no tommorrow
Then it's a commercial failure, but not gamewise. And it's the gamewise failure that counts, the rest doesn't really matter. Though in that case, speaking of 7th guest, it smells like gamewise failure as well...
All I know about the Sega cd is what i've just seen in that vid. From what i can see there it's all about failure. But then again that vid didn't really have the intention to show anything else.
But with the Lunar games it would make it all worth. That is, if they were exclusive for that system. But they're not, so guess it's save to say screw that one.

This is a TON, considering only about 42 N64 games were even released in North America.396 releases total, 88 were exclusive to Japan, 42 to North America, and 2 to Europe.
The best game on N64 was Super smash bros in my opinion. I don't think I've ever had that much fun playing it. I rented it like 7 times. Was awesome. Brought some friends over, had 4 player royal. Damn those were the days. Can't wait for Super smash bros Brawl.

I can already tell your one of those people who play xbox live on halo 2 mods and like shooting games n all that bs. Lol, We are all entitled to our own opinions. All the games I meantioned scored 8.5+ ratings and above from IGN, and for it to be from IGN..It means it was pretty damn good. You don't see 8.5+ ratings too often at IGN.

LOL, my RPG bullcrap? Paper mario/Quest 64 and Zelda are the only 3 games I even mentioned. And no I didn't look at each of these games to see if it scored an 8.5. I simply looked at the wikipedia list and mentioned all the N64 that became success, therefore I already know they have 8+ ratings. N64 had the LEAST amount of RPG's. new generation gamers need to gtfo.

Wii's graphics doesn't matter. It has an innovative style of gameplay unlike 360 which only focuses on graphics/art and only 15% of actual gameplay. This is why most games suck this generation. Everyone wants buffed graphics and everything made easy=shitty games. This is why the DS(Innovative style of gameplay) utterly destroyed the PSP in sells(graphics/imports). It's obvious who's going to win this console war already.

no..new WAY of playing. Wii isn't famous for it's "controller". It actually requires you to move the wiimote to move and etc, unlike an xbox controller where you just mash buttons. DS allows you to move the stylus rather then mash buttons and look at the pretty graphics
In RPG, the storyline makes the adventure more fun hence the whole concept of Role-PLaying-Game. A RPG without an story would get a mediocre rating. Imagine playing Final Fantasy without an story. You'd be lost and it'd be boring as hell. Damn, the ONLY reason I play RPG's is for the story and character development.
Mario obviously doesn't need a story because it's just a action-adventure you play for the fun of it. And super mario 64 did have a story. Save the fuggin princess from bowser.
