Quake 2: Ground Zero

I said like 2 days ago in /v/ that i'd be rapidshitting the Quake 2 expansion Ground Zero, and it's finally done (fucked up a couple of times, had to host it on a private server and remote upload).

So here, in all its glory, the expansion. 4 parts, totalling about 350mb, rar'd down for convenience.

Now i just recently tried to install it, and it crashed. It could be my PC, it could be Windows XP. regardless if you're smart enough you should be able to put it together from the disc's content anyway. all the files are there in the data section, i think.

For those who think quake2 is not pretty enough for your tastes, i've also rapidshared Q2Max, an engine update for the game. Textures remain cloudy, but particles and other stuff are improved. rail trails look good, rockets leave smoke trails and the blaster looks pretty epic. explosions are also nicer. So here it is:

If you don't have the original, i'm pretty sure you can download it for free somewhere. i think i read they made it free to dl. if not, i can probably upload my disc image.
