Rule of 3, Halo 3 Beta

Signups were supposed to start today on Halo3.com (at 12:01am EST) but alas, the signups have yet to start (This is only open to Xbox 360 Gold Live members who played over 3 hours on feb 1st-3rd) and to top it off, I can't get to my hotmail account, MSN.com, MSNBC.com or any other Microsoft site. Anyone have any insight? Above "RoflRoflRofl MSoft sucks get a mac/linux roflroflrofl"?

halo sucks, halo sucks even more because it had some apple ties

Halo (2) rules because it was the first console FPS with a nearly perfected matchmaking system. Halo (1) was good because it was the first FPS in it's generation to really nail the controls, and get them so good that you honestly couldn't do much better with a mouse and keyboard (and halo 2 polished them even more)

But that aside, anyone have any info on what the deal is with the entire Microsoft network? It's slow as hell right now (still) and still no Halo 3 beta signups.
