Jails in MMORPGs

is it true some mmorpgs have jail in them?  so if you do something wrong, your character goes to jail instead of, say, being banned or suspended?

Runescape used to have an area similar to a black hole. Then they decided that it's better to just delete accounts rather than waste bandwidth on mischievous players.

Actually, some GMs in RO (especially private servers) can't jail for their life. I got jailed and drank a poison bottle to kill myself then I was outta there.

i remember an NWN server that did that. i duped money and eventually it sent me to jail... so i kept duping the money in the jail. saved and exporting my new uber character back to SP. jail made it easier cause people couldnt get in to steal my stuff.

I'd like to see some jail breaks.
