I've registered a wii-related domain and am planning on a service like that (though it won't be directly linked with your Nintendo.com account). However, I'm quite lazy, so don't expect anything.

A service like that would be nice, though; then you can poke someone if their name is grey, and have a nice list to look back on if needed.

MapWii.com have a decent system going and I've already used it to add a few people in my area. I'm sure there's already a few sites for friends code exchanges as well :)
