Because of people like you, that accept boring grindfests completely devoid of content, is that Koreans will keep on making this king of game. They're just milking it. There are at least 10 games exactly like this one, and they don't even bother in faking it. They're just in for the Item Shop money. Normally you grind til you reach a certain low/medium level when some feature will be available to you. Then after that you just play to be UBER, that's when you feel how painfully slow you're leveling, and then you buy gear/experience tickets in the Item Shop.

You don't NEED to grind in an RPG.
You can roleplay and do other activities

Yup, but that only works in Western MMORPGs. Korean ones are so geared towards grinding that such activities are impossible. Also all players who play such games are retards, so you won't have much social interaction there.

MMOs require absolutely no skill, but it's idiots like you who devote youe entire life to it that are convinced that mindlessly doing the same task hundreds of times over takes talent. GTFO.

Only 10? I'd wager there are over 100 of those types of games. Korea just keeps pumping them out.

Alot of people play these games also because they can get real money out of it.
I know some guy who sold his Lineage account and got thousands of dollars for it.

Yeah, look at the opportunity cost of that though. He probably spent hundreds of hours doing that effectively making a few bucks an hour, when he could've been working at a job, even at minimum wage, and made more.
