WoW... On a laptop?

Name: Anonymous 2006-11-29 21:22

I'm currently considering whether or not to buy and play WoW, and my laptop meets the requirements easily, but I'm not sure how long I'd be able to play because laptops tend to overheat very fast during gaming. Should I get it or not?

Don't tell me your opinions on WoW. I really don't give a shit if you think it sucks or not.

Overheating shouldn't be too much of an issue. If you're concerned about it, though, google 'laptop cooler'. There are plenty of products out there that will help keep it cool, if you don't mind a little extra bulk.

Laptops. Overheat? OMG, gaming on a laptop without it frying eggs is like trying to stop George W Bush from being a dickhead. IT WON'T HAPPEN. Besides that... WoW<GFaqs

I play WoW on a Dell Inspiron 9300 w/ a Geforce 6800 ultra. No heat issues here.
