People buy shit for $600 that they don't NEED, think about it, it's all a matter of preference. It's my money, who cares what others think about how I spend it.

that's why, in this day and age, you have to buy only what you want, not what you'd think you might just possibly like, this saves a shit-load of money.

You don't need another wrestling game or another splinter cell, another one is just gonna get shit out anyway, I'm after solid hits, like MGS4 and GTA4, you know they're investments. That and the fact that Sony has confirmed the playability of not only Sega Genesis games, but Turbo Grafix 16 as well, meaning some deadly arcade oldschool shit.

And it's all on the free online service PS provides. Read up on WHAT you get with this system, and you might think $600 is pennies compared to that phat TV you're hoping on getting.

Makin' some progress on Ridge Racer....I love this game, got good graphics, a tad too arcadey on the turns, but still a solid launch...and launch usually means crap, so I'd say I'm impressed with this welfare title.

Well, I've created my online account, and I noticed a message popped up, asking me if I wanted to enlist on a billing account, and figured why the hell not... this way, I can download full games and extras right away.

So far, it really resembles that of XBL, with the exception of a different visual aspect, it feels like the navigation is a helluv alot easier to move from one operation to the next.
I'm going to try to put a music CD onto my HD as well as some mixed media formats, I've tried the flash memory, you guys are gonna love the animated slide show you can create..haven't messed around with it too much, though.

Also, note: I've tried 5 older gen games: Pocket Fighter PS1, Castlevania SOTN PS1, Street fighter ann. coll. PS2, MGS3 Substance PS2, Killzone PS2 all worked fine, Killzone played excellent online, couldn't play MGS3 online, as no one is playing at the moment, I guess.... :(  Going to try out Resistance online, if there is one, haven't played the game yet.

I'm recording some of this shit, so please try to be patient with me, as I'm new to uploading videos to youtube and the like.  Thanks for your time guys

I didn't know this, but you can actually browse the net on the fucking thing!!
It loads up the pages somewhat slower than your PC normally would, I'm thinking a firmware update should be around the corner... already downloaded one the moment I was online, probably just tweaking or something.
