So far anonymous has provided terrible excuses for not liking final fantasy vii.

If Anonymous was truly an avid gamer, this wouldn't effect his decision on whether or not the game was any good.

Not really, I think the 6 million user playerbase disagrees. Tedious? yes. Shitty? Not really.

RE: Other RPGs are better.
There are no free-to-play RPGs that are better than final fantasy vii, and there likely never will be hamlet = pre-Fail. legend of dragoon = Fail. vagrant story = Mega Fail. xenogears = Hyper Fail. final fantasy viii = Epic Fail.

It stands to reason that one of the following things is true:

Anonymous tried final fantasy vii but it was too hard for him ;_;
Anonymous didn't like the story ;_;
Anonymous is too much of a lazy broke-ass faggot to get a job and pay for it.
Anonymous is just your typical whiny average 4chan browsing sampfag with a negative attitude but /b/ won't listen to him because he's just plain stupid.

I liked the game too, when it first came out, but I outgrew it, after the first 3 times beating it, and when I beat the weapons.
(god that took forever for me to figure out, at the time)

then, after I got my comp, and the net a year ago...

well obssesive doesn't BEGIN to describe some ff fans.
but it's like everywhere I went involving games, there were hundreds of people raving about ffvii, obssesing over it.
anyone who didn't think it was a game from god, was flamed to hell and back.
and no, I don't mean those who insulted it, even those who liked it, and moved on were considered "the enemy"...

this in turn created many who trash the game, just because they are sick of hearing about it. now not everyone who hates the game falls into this group, but anyone who said they didn't like the game was put in it anyway.
because god forbid someone doesn't like what they do.

but why would that matter so much? if you enjoyed the game, what others say wouldn't matter.
why does taste have to be uniform...

or are you going to claim that that's not it at all, and say everyone BUT you, and those like you, just have no taste, hence simply proving my point?

it's along the lines of people forcing themselves to like caviar, for the sole reason of saying that "their refined tastes are what prove them to be superior"...
yes there ARE people that enjoy it, but to claim that liking certain things is what matters, as opposed to who you are. that's just ridiculous, and delusional.

I am NOT trying to bad mouth those who genuinly enjoy the game to this day, but really, the e-pissing contest goes too far.
