I have Version 2.60 on my PSP. Is there anyway i can play my emulators on it. and if i can does it require GTA save slots?

I'm guessing this is probably a troll, but I'll answer it anyway...

What you need is version 1.5 firmware.  You'll have to downgrade to that and then you can not only run emulators and homebrew, you can also run games straight from your memory stick instead of from disk (not that I'm in any way telling you that you can then download all your games for free, as that would be illegal).

Your first port of call would not be a board like this, but one of the many PSP dedicated sites out there.  Start with http://www.psp-hacks.com/  - it's one of the better ones and has lots of downloads.  Read up a bit on what you need to do there.  It's actually quite easy to get your firmware to 1.5

... Forgot to mention, there's only one way you won't be able to downgrade, and that's if you have a TA-082 circuit board in your PSP.  Just check on the site how to determine what you've got first.
