Gamestop run today

Name: Anonymous 2006-07-15 13:24

I'm heading down to Gamestop today to trade in some old games and hopefully buy Sly 3 if they have it for cheap.  Anyway, about a month or so ago, I scratched the disk for SSBM, and now it won't play correctly.  I've played the game roughly once every 2-3 weeks and it's definitely one of my all time favorites, but I know I'm just going to dump it when SSBB is released, so I'm hesitant to buy again.  Then again, Brawl isn't exactly a launch-title, so I'd have a few more months of enjoyment if I sprung for a used copy.

My Gamecube library consists of Double Dash, Mario Party 6, Wind Waker, Sunshine, Resident Evil, and a friends' copy of Eternal Darkness (though I have been looking at getting my own...).

Long story short, my question to /v/ is, what should I spend the $60 or so I'll be trading in towards?  I'd prefer to buy some Gamecube games, mainly because I have almost all the PS2 titles I want, but I'm open to PS2 suggestions.

And as a final tangent, is Twin Snakes worth it if I haven't played MGS2?

Play the PS1 Metal Gear. It's superior.
