PS3 and VGA compatibility

So, will the PS3 be VGA compliant?  I don't have a TV so this could be a deciding factor for me...

I'm hoping it'll have DVI. but I think sony is gonna just go for plain HDMI, which totally sucks. I'd rather play my ps3 on my nice 19'' LCD monitor than on my 27'' fishbowel.
