What's the purpose of gaming pcs?

And why do people keep making new games?

Most new games are shit and gaming pcs aren't worth the trouble.

A pc that's 3 years old, or older has better games on it.

So what's the point of making newer pcs in their current state?

Lies. Sure there are new games that suck, but there are new games that are a lot of fun and introduce new concepts and play styles. Don't buy the $20 games you see at WalMart. Look up reviews for games before you buy them, and you'll be fine.

The Gravity gun in HL2 was a new way of playing a game, altered gravity (running on the wall or cieling) is new in Prey, and various new RTS and MMORPGs offer ways to play different than anything before them.
