Well the base system is gonna be $600 dollars right there, then Sony announced that games would be $70 to $90 a piece. So fuck getting the ps3. I'll have t file for bankruptcy. I'll stick with the xbox360, which has better shit anyway, and is cheaper.
Now PS3: Will play NTSC-J Ps2 games, Blu-ray movies, Metal Gear Solid 4, and, will have more 3rd party support (like with PS1 and Ps2). PS3 is buddy-buddy with Konami, Capcom, and Square-Enix.
But halo is still the BEST GAME EVAR and holds with it the AWSOME EXTREME EXTERENESS to take out and entire_fucking_console AMIRIGHT?
Sony's probably going to drop the price REALLY quickly. not because the system gets cheaper to make, but they'll just realize that nobody is going to pay that much, at least not all at once, for a game console.
Sony wont be around by then and ill be lol'ing and lol'ing at all the quality deprived fags who thought ps2 games were top notch shit.

I don't know if people are renting video games these days. The more I think renting video games will be a huge factor, then I do believe PS3 will be less of a failure.

For those of you who worship the 360 because it is cheaper, you really need to do some math. Have you calculated the cost of the accessories yet?
Internet is not standard, you have to get the hd-dvd drive seperate, have to buy lots more controllers without and awesome features, a kick ass hard-drive is not standard.
It may be cheaper to first buy, but after pimping it out, it is going to be more than the fully equipped PS3.
