New in TF 1.5; they suck, but some people like them because they don't like the "cartoony" look of the original models.

Well, the real reason I don't like them, is that I can't instantly tell if someone is a disguised spy or not when looking at them.

Also, they lower FPS slightly.

(1.5 was released before 2004, most likely, enable them by setting tfc_newmodels to ... 1 I guess.)
