If you pay 600+ dollars to play a fucking video game you need to get a life.
End of story. Games should be cheap like they were before.

$600 is a bit steep, but you have to consider that you'll only pay for it once. And like >>18 mentioned, it's Blu-Ray DVD player as well.
So, if you want a PS3, just find a way to save some money. Stop wasting money on unecessary things like soda, fast food, and such and save up. And before you know it, you'll have a good portion of your PS3 paid for.
Still, I'll probably buy a Revolution (I refuse to call it 'wii') before I get a ps3.
