Nights looks horrible

Why do people like this?

This looks as unfun as any 3D sonic game
The music is average
and the graphics are absolutely terrible.

Why the love for this again?

It was a fun game with great atmosphere, memorable characters, and a rockin' soundtrack.  And as a side note, don't judge a game's graphics by a camcorder recording of the on-screen action: the graphics were very good for its time.
