You're saying american games are more interesting or the american videogame cleverly (and falsely) labeled at "life" is more interesting?
In both cases you're wrong anyway.
Not really... There's more variety in Japanese games

Depends on the type of game. JP does RPG and platformers better. NA does FPS and RTS better. There's all kinds inbetween too.

Depends on the game, really. There are good American games and good Japanese games. Most games on both sides, though, are shit.

Us Americans are better at FPS games, while the Japanese are best at fighters. Otherwise, there are few other genres that either side really excels at.

Not really, turn based strategy and RPG games are where Western and US games actually truly excel. Just take a look at games like Fallout series, Planescape Torment, Jagged Alliance series, Civilization, Master of Orion etc. In past Western games also excelled at adventure games, but that genre pretty much died. FPS genre was invented by Americans, but it seems that after Deus Ex and System Shock 2 it hasn't evolved and continues as same much like Final Fantasy series. Pretty much same problem plagues RTS genre. Japanese games excel at odd ideas, fighting games and unique games. Also at h-games, but they have no US counterpart anyway. Japanese also tend to be more creative with their games, but some genres like JPRGs and fighting games haven't really evolved. This is not problem with fighting games though as the concept itself works always.

It's ironic that FPS/RTS are games where Americans suck real bad. They rocked in old times, but most of today's FPS/RTS games are overcommercialized EA shit.

First Person Shooters and Real Time Strategy Games. Surely some games exists that actually mix elements from both, but you should figure out what I really meant.

I agree. It's pretty much the same rehashed shit over and over again right now. A really good fps/rts hybrid would change that
