Xbox 360 info/opinion needed.

Hihi!

A friend has offered me a two-month old Xbox-360 for $250 NZD, that's like $160-180 USD. The trap is, that it's from China. Now I'm an uneducated PS2 fanboy, so pls educate me, xoxoxo. The following questions are ordered from least important to most, just to confuse you.

1) I like RPGs/horrors, therefore the Xbox is probably the least desirable console to get for them, right? Just trying to gauge from the Xbox which might not be desirable.

2) Localisation, is Xbox-360 region-free, or is it all localised by PAL/NTSC/whatever the hell Xbox runs on. I understand it's pretty new, but what's the likelihood, that in the advent it's local region games only, that there'll be a hack or something to remedy this.

3) It's $250 fucking dollars! What's the likelihood I could onsell it? Should I buy it 4ch?

Love,
Anonymice.

Use that money for something decent. Like a DS.

DS Lite, you mean.  The original was a brick.

Use that money for Geometry Wars only, if you want.

I have my doubts about this 'deal'  while $250 is kinda cheap, you're buying from china... not that there's not legitimate x-box sales from china, but China, Tiwan, Singapore are well known for their scams and shady sales. Make sure it's a reputable seller, and trust your gut on this sorta thing, don't let the low pricetag lure you itno throwing away your money~    I personally would side with the PS2 system for RPGs. The Xbox and Xbox 360 have been rather unpopular in Japan, and that's where most RPGs are born.  Other than that there's not much I can tell you, good luck ^^
