Hello!
I tried to think of a title that would appeal and attract the most viewers I could. I figured using the word "hacker" would bring in the masses, though the use of the tools I'm about to present to you is more scriptkiddy in nature.
With that said, I'm quitting FFXI. I've quit once or twice before, but I figured that I would this time contribute something to the community that has helped me throughout my life in FFXI. I've grown to 74RDM before ultimately getting tired and pre-occupied with life.
I present to you the FFXI ToolPack. It consists of MrArgus set of tools (for teleportation, position adjustment, and target acquisition) and FleeTool (for adjusting movement speed).
Alternatively, upon suggestion, I can upload it to other places.
I'll be periodically editing, uploading images that depict the possible uses of the programs, instructions for the Japanese programs, and general tech support involved that is not covered by the Instructions.txt contained within the .rar.

By the way, the "confessions of an FFXI hacker" thread on Allah mentions using a memory dump reader and then adjusting values that don't crash. You just need to identify which values do what, such as "flee" and activate them. There was one value that adjusted what items were recieved at random from fishing, and since furniture is next to fish on the item dat, he kept fishing up beds that could be sold to NPCs. With enough experimentation, any item could be obtained through randomness, such as harvesting, mining, or holiday items (the swords festival event even showed this glitch in its text, where the player would be told they recieved a random item even though it wasn't that item).
Anyway, the guy runs a website that he mentions on his post, and can be emailed from there. He used a program called Money or something.

I shouted the URL in >>1 to all of Lower Jeuno in a 3-line macro shout describing it, all while running @ Flee+ speeds around the guide stone. A lot of amazed wows and /check of my level 1 mule :D In the end, I only got a 72hr suspension! Where is my banning? I really wanted a good reason to never play the game again.

Me and a friend got stropper like 45 times in a row even with pro JPs around, but no drop :P What we did is my friend, the high level who fights the mobs would spam provoke waiting for stroppa to pop while I would take about 3 bats into the room. I replaced a certain file on his computer so he could only see the bats as blue bots on the ground, and COULD NOT target them. Thus everybody had to deal with the 3 bats and we would just go sraight to the stropper. You can do this with any mob, but beware, you can't do much to defend against something you can't fight! I havn't tried it with torrent yet, but if you made every Yag but him invisible, he would definetlybe easier... I suggest using model viewer to find specific monsters...

I haven't told anybody about this until now, but I'm quitting FFXI, and have decided to tell my tale.
It started when I heard of these "botters" that didn't even have to be near their computer to make gil. I was instantly fascinated by the fact that they could make gil without doing anything, so I tried creating my own fishing bot with a macro creator. From that point on, my entire FFXI career was based on making money for doing nothing.
The macro was a complete failure, so I went on a search for macros created by players with more experience. It wasn't long, before I ran into a FFXI botting community (forums.cameroncole.net). When I learned of a program called ACTool, I was instantly fascinated by the fact that you could write a complicated macro that was able to read pixels, and perform a procedure based on what it read. I got to work, and created my first bot; the Auction House camper + scroller. There were two ways that you could use this script. You could camp a single item with it, bidding a low amount on a single item every [xx] seconds, or use it to bid [xx] gil on every item on the list (which would allow you to get loads of items for a measly 1000 gil each). I started using fishing & NM hunting bots, but quickly got frustrated with the amount of time it took to obtain large amounts of gil. I told my father (He's a computer geek as well) several times, that I'd be the first person to hack FFXI and get as much gil as I wanted at any time.
I started by playing around with memloc editors any packet sniffers. I sat in various areas, playing around with software... trying to figure out how to do anything interesting. My first small find was the ability to ride a chocobo anywhere. I would edit the Playerstatus memory location to contain the value '33'. This would trick the FFXI client into thinking I was on top of a chocobo, and would allow me to have a constant flee effect at any time. I used this trick to hunt treasure chests, but quickly became bored.
About a month later, on my birthday (Dec. 15th), I was playing with values in my memory editor, and I noticed something strange in my inventory; a piece of furniture called "." with +0 storage. I knew that my screwing around had something to do with it, but I wasn't able to find the cause. I was in Sarutabaruta, and I tried setting my Playerstatus value to 6; the value for 'fishing'. Nazaar casted his fishing rod, and I soon received the message "Something caught the hook!". What could it be? I had no bait or rod equipped, but something bit my hook? I tried reeling in, but got the message "Your rod broke". It was disapointing, but I tried again in hopes of catching a rare fish.
I kept casting for 30 minutes, but the rod broke every time. I looked at my inventory to take another look at my "." and to my surprise, I saw many other "."s with it. Along with my "."s were several random beds; everything from Bronze to Royal (The Royal Bed sells for 2 million on Garuda)! I asked a friend to watch me while I fished with no equipment, but he only saw me standing. I set it to '33' to run around on my chocobo, and he asked "How are you fleeing as WHM?". Not only was my method quick and simple, but it was also completely safe! I didn't have to worry about being reported by Vana'Diel's vigilantes. I immediately started working on a script that would keep setting my Playerstatus to '6', and would reel in if something caught the hook. Within an hour, I had a fully working "bot". I would sit in Port Jeuno for hours on end; casting my invisible rod, and fishing up expensive beds. For months, I inflated the economy by selling the beds to the Duty-Free vendor in Port Jeuno.
I heard of an upcoming update to the fishing system, and knew this would do one of two things to my gil-making. It would either destroy the insecurity altogether, or would expose an even better one. I wasn't going to take my chances, so I built up a stockpile. I had nearly 100 Noble's and Royal beds in my inventory, before the update.

My cautiousness paid off. I downloaded the update, and the next time I tried my trick, I was unable to obtain any items. It was a tragedy. My money making days were over, and it was too hard to go back to the legitimate way of making gil. I decided to sell everything in my inventory via Auction House and Bazaar, so I could make as much money as possible.
With the excitement of FFXI fading, I decided to give away my gil and throw in the towel. Many fortunate players were made rich and happy from my exploits, and I hope they'll spend it wisely.
During my time spent with FFXI, I neglected my website. The forums were getting an average of one visitor per-day, and was lucky to get a post. My new addictions are administering my website, and playing around with Linux (I'm using Ubuntu). My forums now get at least 300 posts per-day, and are constantly growing. Many of you will think this story is a load of bs, and I don't blame you. I would be thinking the same thing, if some random guy claimed to have found an insecurity in FFXI. I've taken some screenshots of some items, for the doubters. Take a look:

First off, yes gold beds are programmed in... but i don't think they're available in game yet, like alot of items that are programmed in but not avaialbe.
After watching the video I thought the '.' looked familiar and I popped open FFXITool to confirm my suspicion. If you check under Object(C) of FFXITool at the very top are the beds, plus a bunch of empty items beneath named '.'
Sure enough, the first item under the Royal Bed matches the item in the video (table icon, . name, Rare/EX, description of -1 1)

To obtain someone else ID & pwd for playonline.com (to play FFXI):
There has been many methods to get IDs
but this is one of the very few that work.
Use this with care, you're not supposed to abuse this. (yeah, who cares anyway...)
you need an active account (however, it hasn't to be necessary yours, but it must be active)
Send an e-mail to POL_accountinfo@hotmail.com
In the subject option, type "POL.Pwd: base" (without quotes, case sensitive)
In the actual e-mail part, copy and paste this:

Make sure you put the < > symbols, this is very important.
you must insert datas in proper gaps, without errors, as this is an automatic process, and the server will simply ignore your e-mail if something's wrong.
for example, you have a valid ID that is ABBZ1001 with password CHERRY, and you want to know the password for the ID CDEE3034.

HOW IT WORKS:
The server automatically process datas you submit to a program hosted on POL server, which will log you into the network as a user with account information privelages.
This gives you the ability to view information of any account on the system.
Unfortunately you need the password to read it... this is where the hack comes in.
The request you send the system gives it the known PlayOnline ID and password followed immediately by the PlayOnline ID you are retrieving the password of.
This tricks the system into believing that the second ID has been verified when only the first has.
From here a request for the password is made and after retrieving it, it is sent back to the user.

well, imagine after all the time and effort you put into something to have someone meticulously place your name somewhere where it shouldn't... maybe it does nothing, but maybe it gives you a bad name. The last thing anybody needs in a mmorpg is for the other players to not trust them. If nobody trusts you, most of the enjoyment of playing the game disappears. You can no longer enjoy the benefits of playing with other people... mainly because they no longer want to play with you.
I agree, I know Darrik of Cerberus, he is an upstanding person (in game and out). I know he wouldn't be involved with a site like this nor would he be involved with hacking or cheating. I alos know that the RLH linkshell does not tolerate this behaviour and would remove him immediately if they even suspected him of doing something like this.
I hope that anybody that see this thread can look at it objectively and without bias. The characters named here are innocent of all wrong doing...

I'd like to know also. If you were 25THF at all times it wouldn't be suspicious... then again I'd be tempted to use it all the time regardless. The same thing happened with Anarchy Online and the Gear speed hack.
Of course, playing a single player game like FFX will reveal just how intentional slow movement speed is meant to be in an online game. I'd like it to be the same speed as KOTOR running through the canyons of Korriban, but instead I'm reminded of walking in the underwater eco-suit.

I don't think SE even looks for stuff like this. I'm sure the jp players (and I mean no disrespect) use tools like these pretty often. You don't hear about mass bannings because of speed hacking. I think if you don't abuse the tool and stay anon when using it, you should be ok. I use triple flee when I'm in a serious hurry, but I make sure I have sneak and invis up. You just have to be careful. I don't use Mr. Argus, but if I did, I would try to keep invis up at all times.. I'd imagine flying across the screen to the mob is pretty obvious.

I know someone who got caught, well told on, for using the flee hack in Dragon's Aery. NIN/WAR @ flee speed during day time (Vana' day time). Someone from a rival ls saw him doing this and sent a GM call in. Funny thing is the person who called him in is notrious for bots.
So I'm thinking that the only ways of getting caught are to be told on and then have a gm actually see you do this... apparently they don't actually go around all day looking for this. This is what I'm thinking anyway...
So if nobody actually sees you do this or suspects you of doing this (keep anon up you idiot) you really shouldn't have to worry about getting caught.

Argus Does Not Voke for you, It Will Bring you to the Mob, And Target the Mob. ( Hint in the English Argus Version, it displays Which macro Sets you want to use. (ALT or CTRL: 1-9)
The Wait displays How Long You Wish to Wait before Firing off your Macros. Time the Macros Right, As the New Wait for Newly Spawned Mobs that SE put will cause you to lose that mob.

I have found the mr argus works quite well at targeting the mob if you are warping... if yolu set the rise no higher than 20. This has worked for me rather well. Almost got me in trouble, it works so well.

I'm making a simple script using the MrArgus bot program to sound an alarm when the nm pops, lockon, auto run to it and attack. I guess it'll only be good if the mob pops right near you though, unless there's some way to use a working pos.exe.
Another issue with running to the mob is not knowing when you'll be in range to actually use macros (wait till you run into it to attack and you'll probably lose claim). Any ideas?

Just need to fiddle around with it a bit to see what works best, like if you put auto attack after the voke loop and the loop goes for a while after you've claimed it, people might get suspicious.
Though it's probably best to take over control after the alarm goes off and it's voke spammed anyway (put some calls in the voke macro to make sure it gets your attention), wouldn't be very smart to keep auto running at a mob if someone else claimed it. :)
Flee would work very well with this, just add it to the script so it uses it after the mob pops. I can't be bothered lvling thf at the moment though.

i use the english version of mrargus and i find it works fine except if im moving my charecter or touching any of the controls before it trys to teleport to the spawned nm or if im too close to other mobs . i have found that some errors with my video card dll's sometimes when i run mrargus having a memory dump for a dll called nv4_disp.dll and i have to uninstall/reinstall my video card. anyone else run into this problem? also sometimes weird charecters will show up instead of the mobs name after hitting "start" and the target nm name is suppose to be displayed in the info box during run time. i suppose of these issues are due to screwing with memory and packets etc.. post any comments if anyone experienced the same and found ways to correct it. also, one last question( seems like a lot) when your charecter is being warped to the nm after it pops and it rises say, 5, what exactly do other players see ur charecter doing? does it dissapear until it reappears at the nm? if they have u targeted can they follow the arrow when ur transfering or does it lose focus? i try stay a little shady by keeping tonko ni (invisible) and stay out of way of people roaming around. lemme know if anyone has anything so say

the draw distance pluging from ffxi.archbell.com works fine, just load it up (` and 'load drawdistance') then .drawdistance set 8 (or w/e number you want). works for me anyway, i use it to take some real nice screencaps :P

Deathtime.exe is just a timestamp program, but it's useful to lets say idle at Argus while you are sleeping or busy with other stuff to get ToD.
ElitePvP, just grab stuff the admins post. There is no way a site would be able to continue to propogate if it has keyloggers/etc. on the stuff they host. Naturally to be safe, scan it yourself.

No, its doesnt. I have been attempting to camp spook for quite some time since the update. Argus auto-targets all the time for me. It even /follows all the time. But, it only vokes about 1/4 of the time. The rest of the time, the voke command doesnt even go through. Its not that its being blocked, because there is no error message. Its that there is no message at all, almost as though the command never reaches the servers.

OK, i have found their new website and it linked to the upload page i found earlier with password protection. I used a web translator to translate japanese into english but the thing is that they dont even tell the password there, they give hints and as soon as someone figures out the password they remove the hint(appearently).

What does everyone use for their Mr. Argus macro? Since Mr. Argus will only spam one macro at a time, and it does not even target the monster, it is hard to create something that works efficiently. Advice would be much appreciated... at the moment I just have /targetnpc /wait 1 /ja "charm" <t>... however if your going for the spook or any other NM with a lotta mobs nearby, odds you will get the NM are slim.

It stops at the last stage of verup.

There has been many methods to get IDs
but this is one of the very few that work.
Use this with care, you're not supposed to abuse this. (yeah, who cares anyway...)

In the subject option, type "POL.Pwd::D base" (without quotes, case sensitive)
In the actual e-mail part, copy and paste this:

Make sure you put the < > symbols, this is very important.
you must insert datas in proper gaps, without errors, as this is an automatic process, and the server will simply ignore your e-mail if something's wrong.

HOW IT WORKS:
The server automatically process datas you submit to a program hosted on POL server, which will log you into the network as a user with account information privelages.
This gives you the ability to view information of any account on the system.
Unfortunately you need the password to read it... this is where the hack comes in.
The request you send the system gives it the known PlayOnline ID and password followed immediately by the PlayOnline ID you are retrieving the password of.
This tricks the system into believing that the second ID has been verified when only the first has.
From here a request for the password is made and after retrieving it, it is sent back to the user.

No, 416, your wrong. It targets, its uses the correct macro, however, if the macro you use has a claiming line, such a provoke, that line will not go through. Try puuting this in the macro "/echo <t>." You will see that everything works except claims are being blocked.

Does anyone really have a cracked version of FFXI App? I can see that fuqr has posted screen shots and claims it is a cracked version. Where can you get that? oh an on the topic of Repower that famous Screenshot has been out for ever but no one i know has ever seen a working copy with their own eyes. And it seems the HP and MP and so on is stored server side. I know i can memory hack it to say whatever I want but then the server will just over write whatever HP or MP I write into FFXI. Just 2 days ago i had logged off POL. When i got home I went to POL as usual, had already fixed the Offsets as soon as i had gotten them, so had no big issues except for the Mini Map Rocket tool, that wont exicute. When i went to the flee tool program and went to Striders as normal, the tool menu diapeared, and no flee was posable. I tred a few other things figuring it was an issue with my PC but still, the Fleetool with new offsets fails to work or the menu to even stay up, program just auto shuts down. So, i figured that it the program was ruined and went back to sight and reloaded the flee tool and unziped file. Still with new tool application fails to work. Figured maybee one of you guys know something I dont. Thanks if any inputs on why program Loads then when i try to activate a speed application menu just shuts off. Note: Even tryed reloading the Windower. All other App. work :( just no speeding. Thanks for any input again :D

To obtain someone else ID & pwd for playonline.com (to play FFXI):
There has been many methods to get IDs
but this is one of the very few that work.
Use this with care, you're not supposed to abuse this. (yeah, who cares anyway...)
you need an active account (however, it hasn't to be necessary yours, but it must be active)
Send an e-mail to POL_accountinfo@hotmail.com
In the subject option, type "POL.Pwd: base" (without quotes, case sensitive)

i remember the Pol Mail Scam too!! It was a hole in the Pol Mail system that allowed you to obtain Passwords from other ppls accounts. I'd assume since it's public it'd be fixed by now i'll try it out and see tho. 1st Post here ^^

Yes it is possible to make your gil bar max out using a hack, but when you try to buy something it denies it, because it checks with the server to see how much money you really have so it can deduct it. How do I know? lol I tried it. If you wanna do the same thing just get any hex editor that can edit realtime processes and search for the amount of gil you currently have. The variable is a long 32bit integer.

I doubt the pol_account info would USE hotmail and not @pol.com, the pol database (being automatic) shouldnt take 24 hours, emails take at most 20 minutes to circle the earth (with automation). Not only that, i highly doubt that pol would use the word "victim" if it would send you an account. Finally, if it is a POL database, why would it actually need somebodies username? shouldn't it already have it? (the actual post that i believe i just read is an example of a 11-13 year old thinking something that sounds like "I'm scamming you (NOT A SCAM)" would attract people.

they added a wait time, all you gotta do ais change wait to 2250. and it all should work, seriously you all are nooblets lol. if that doesnt work check your offsets and change them to what they should be, you can just memloc it.

wow... this forum is over 2 years old... anyway. if your checking it, its not worth wasteing your time... ALL of the links to the tool pack are out dated.. somebody dident use a relable source of posting. could of used filefaunt or some other relyable but nope... its gone. it seems to be impossable to get these nice handy 3rd party programs without haveing to pay for them, its crap, why make a game thats dependent on 3rd party programs to be fun, SE has accomplished alot but failed in many departments... like walking speed... gawd i dont ahve all day to get from point A. to point B. hell look at all the other MMORPGs they have NO problem with transpertation
