Doukutsu Monogatari / Cave Story Sprite Edit

I tried editing the pbm files in the data directory, but when I try to use them, The game give me an error and doesnt load....

I tried everything I could think of, but the game wont take the edited file...

Any suggestions?

Notes:
*You will need a program called tsearch v1.6 made by corsica production
*open the procces and point out doukutsu.exe
*add the codes manually or load a .cht file
*freeze the values of the nemesis to never gain exp or fire max charged shoots every time whit the spur
*turn off the codes for the ending sequence
*when you load the codes or add manually the value is your current in game status, change if you want
*put 200 in the exp slot of the spur weapon to always fire max charged shots
