Underrated video game girls

I'll admit to only playing certain games based on their most attractive female character. Otherwise, what's the point?

Hinata - Rival Schools: Not very different from Sakura. Yet I'm strangely attracted to her and her white headband. Why?
Shaia - Gowcaizer: A scifi Mai Shiranui. Slightly more fanservice than Mai gets, both in the game and anime. Even her concept sketches are near nude in clothing.
Roomi - Galaxy Fight: Cute, bouncy, large chested alien girl. Cuteness factor plus fanservice.
June - Star Gladiator: For some reason I don't care much for Chun-Li, but I like June despite her similar appearance.
Koyori - Sengoku Ace: Cute, chesty, and flying in an open miko outfit. Strangely, her Sengoku Blade version doesn't indicate she's chesty at all.

Now you'd think playing a game solely for their most attractive character would be superficial. But I honestly would like to see these characters developed, with more insight into their background and personalities, and even their own dedicated games. But since it's unlikely to happen, well, that's why fans take it upon themselves to draw pictures of even the most obscure girls, and produce doujinshi that others are so fond of, um, viewing.

I call it "the obscure but cute girl should be the main character anyway because every other character in the game is simply boring" paradox.

I have to agree with >>2. Vanessa is pretty darn good looking and only ever seems to get love from Saigado.

I was just playing some Beyond Good and Evil the other night and damn if Jade isn't hot. She's also rather normally dressed too. Plus I've always had a thing for girls who are shutter bugs.

Also, not sure if this counts, but Shannon Elizibeth was in that Bond game Everything or Nothing and damn she is hot.

But anyway, Malon from Legend of Zelda: OoT is teh hotness.  Damn cute and has lolicon potential. 

Devilot from Cyberbots.  All hail her ebil highness.  Everyone knows she's the real reason you play Cyberbots (and Super Puzzle Fighter). :3

There are some really good but obscure girls.

 The entire female cast of the Street Fighter EX PLUS ALPHA games, for example. Never played EX 2, but Pullum Purna, Blair Dame and the Japanese girl whose name I forget are all beyond obscure.

Konoko from Oni was a pretty interesting character, too bad the game wasn't that good.

Just imagine how cool the game could have been.  There.

Oh, and the young girl from The Bouncer.  The entire game is worthless until the end where she turns into an android and unleashes the kickass on everyone.  But it's only a loose end for a sequel, which will never happen.

I see your Akira(Rival Schools) and Baiken(Guilty Gear) and raise you a Hsien-Ko/Lei-Lei(DarkStalkers).

Lucca from Chrono Trigger. She is terribly underrated, and almost so in the game too (apart from her obvious inventiveness.)
