Hebereke's Popoitto is awesome.

I mean it. PSX version more than SNES. It's just a shame the 1 Player mode is too short, and there's no Popoon story mode ... they probably couldn't be arsed programming decent AI.

Anyway, what happened to Hebereke? Oh-Chan had the Oekaki Logic games and a cameo in Yeh Yeh Tennis, and the original game was re-released on one of the Sunsoft Memorial discs, but other than that the characters haven't been around much.

Sunsoft being more or less dead probably has something to do with it.

Well, not exactly dead, but dead inside. They're just making pachinko and Shanghai games now... it's sad, really.
