I've been playing Anarchy Online for a pretty long time, the community has been bugging the hell out of me lately due to total noobs, and the complete twinks all over the Shadowlands (the game has been made free for a year, as long as you don't buy expansions.), ANYWAY, it's pretty fun you should try it out, not too well-balanced and you will gimp the shit out of your first guy or 2, but it is pretty fun.

tough one, the one i've spent the most time with was UO but right now it is probably WoW because i really like the warcraft universe and because it doesn't take too long to level up your characters.
Right now i am playing everquest 2 though, pretty nice game but Sony Online Entertainment are retarded for not accepting paypal as a payment option, nor selling cd keys separately and for charging extra for every little feature you want.

UO was definately the highlight of my MMORPG gaming. I mean I played EQ for a long time but it was always that rat race to get better shit and friends that kept me on.

Ragnarok Online has something about it that kept me playing on Chinese and private servers for a couple YEARS after I quit iRO. By now I can't stand it since I've done everything there is to do in the game.
L2 was my favorite until WoW beta.. now i'm waiting to get retail :(

WoW is weak i though. I got lv54 in 3 weeks during trial period. I can make 100gold in 4-5 days, there was no challenge in the game. I played on a PvP server which sucks cause no moral system and the raids suck big time. The server cant even handle 1 guild raiding, with more people it crashes the server. Oh yeah the lags during raid is unbareable too.

City of Heroes, man. There's not enough City of Heroes love going on, here. I love how easy it is to make yourself look unique, and the battle system is really actiony and fun. It's a good time, plain and simple, even if it's a little barebones compared to some other games.
Although I'd probably be drooling and ranting and orgasming over WoW if I could afford to buy it right now...

CoH is really really fun, but for especially for someone like me who tires of things quickly, it's too shallow. Hopefully in a few months with the PvP expansion/seperate game City of Villains and the out of combat skills system that's been in the pipes for many months it'll have a little more staying power.
The combat is definately better than anything else out there... but it has to be, since that's all there really is to do.

PSO, which I played for about 3 years (DC v1, V2, GC EPI&II) has always been fun for me. I wonder how much Blue Burst adds...
Still enjoying RO, and I've played for about a year now. Getting sick of the fact that if you're not of a specific class, you're pretty much fucked levelingwise.
Really, I seem to enjoy most MMOs that do a few simple things: Give you a world to explore, and don't make it so fucking difficult to explore, (lol FFXI)
Don't use free PvP, because it makes for the shittiest gaming experience in the existence of the net. In fact, most MMOs I find would be better with no PvP at all. Makes lamers come in flocks.

PSO rocks, cannot wait fro psu to come out. My problem is yes there should be no pvp at times, but there are other times win certian games (FFXI ) where I wanted to turn around and smite some idiot for the stupidity they do, my main problem from playing ffXI I have seen is the gms seem to play favorites with certian people, not implying anything, but it seems they do.......
Meh i should end this before I rant but other than pso, the only games mmo wise that grabbed me where very little, I got turned off most when i noticed play to play with free trail asks for a cc # imediately , which at times annoyes me,

There are freeshards for PSO Ver1 and Ver2 on DC afaik.
Used to play Ver1&2 for around 4k hours until my DC died the third time and I didn't want to repair it again. But PSO was just the fucking best game ever.
Now since there is no PSO:Universe in sight (anyone got proper infos?) I'm into RO and EVE Online.

I was going to say Myth of Soma but then I was reminded of PSO by this thread, which definitely has to get my vote. Diablo 2 is also pretty addictive, it's just sad that you have to click to fucking do anything, arrows keys are just too good for blizzard I guess, I understand WoW even fails in the category of controls as well, on top of not even having a game to begin with.
