earlier, which is a italian restaurant chain in the UK ... It's slightly more sophisticated than pizza hut and serves wine and shit like that.
Anyway, I had a large bottle of peroni and the waiter came round with it and a big 20oz glass, and poured like 3 inches of beer, and then put it down and served other stuff.
I was slightly perplexed by this. Why did he bother doing that? If I'm going to have to pour it just give me the damn glass empty. Or if you're gonna start pouring then bloody pour the whole thing. It made no sense!
